Babies are truly amazing in every way.

I'm perfectly content holding a baby- even if it cries.

No I am not pregnant nor will I be any time soon,

 but I am very much enjoying watching my friends try parenting for the first time.

First little one came right before Christmas- Sweet Judah!

His parents are our upstairs neighbors:)

Second came little Charlotte on Wednesday morning at 8am.

Charlotte belongs to our dear friends Lauren and Trey Thomason!

That there is now a soul that will always exist.

And while Alan reminisces on that- I will think about how wonderful they smell.

Alan and I are four and a half years away from children,

but despite my best efforts I did think today, if I was...
