October Trip Part 3

There is something that has always drawn me towards water,
Oceans.Rivers.Lakes.

I can't get enough of it.

I think it reminds me of God and thats why I love it.

One thing I was sure to do while in Savannah,
 get near the ocean.

A ship off of River Street
Shells we found on Tybee Beach
How incredibly vast is His love for me.

a little midweek peace

The Lord is my shepherd I lack nothing.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

he refreshes my soul.

Psalm 23 1-3

This is what my mind thinks of automatically.

When things are starting to overwhelm me like they have been lately,

I remember this and I am instantly calmed by God's peace.

I cannot do everything on my own, and I have an independent spirit I need to tame.

That spirit gets me into trouble and I would rather depend on my God.

And on a side note...

In that little cottage on the hill...this would be my bathroom.

I love the natural lighting.

Tiny but perfect.

New Life

Marriage is a gift.
Having someone to walk through life alongside you, loving you for who you are.
I thank God every day for Alan.
I know there are storms ahead and we will meet them when the time comes but right now in this season of preparation...we are getting to fall in love all over again.
The journey has been intoxicating so far and it just gets better every day.
The Lord is faithful in all things, and He has shown himself true to His word on many occasions.
God is good.

The Friendship Porch

I live in Woodlawn with my fabulous Aunt Amy and we decided to do lead a small group!
We are calling it "The Friendship Porch" and we will be using Lared's character
development principles as subject matter!
I am so excited about this, and cannot wait to build relationships with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ!
(This week is on motives)

so close

I thought I could not assist God in growing something...but I did!
1st picture- Beans, Roma, and Baby Pepper
2nd picture- Spinach
3rd picture- delicioso cilantro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is amazing to watch something so insignificant grow into something so beautiful.
Yes normal plants can be beautiful, not just flowers.
I think humans are drawn to plants and nature in general because it is so close to God's original plan.
No man made additives.
Pure beautiful natural gifts from God.
I cannot wait to put these gifts to use
